Have you ever wondered how a 2JZ swapped E30 M3 would look like? What power output would it have? And how would it sound? Ultimately this is not a dream and a team in Germany have actually built a car on the chassis of the infamous E30 M3 with the engine used in the legendary Toyota Supra that outputs a whopping 1.305 horsepower.

BMW and Toyota have continued working together for years, despite everyone acting all shocked when the new Supra/Z4 combo was published. They have been constantly working on hybrids for about 10 years but petrolheads all around the world have combined them together for even more than that. The 2JZ engine Toyota produced and used on the MkIV Supra was so loved by enthusiasts throughout the world, it was compelled to earn its way into other cars too.

The crew also kept the rear-wheel-drive setup of the primary M3 intact, there’s no all-wheel-drive here. The transmission was modified though and it is now sequential, highlighting an E34 M5 rear differential.

The inline-six got a Garrett GTX4294R turbocharger which was pushed up to 43 lbs of boost. This indicates that alongside the 1.300 HP under the hood, this E30 M3 also makes 1.163 lb-ft of torque. Considering how light the E30 chassis, first of all, also everything being scraped inside the cabin, this is one hell of a fast car to drive.

The suspension has adjustable coil overs all around while holding this beast is prepared by a set of six-piston calipers up front and E46 M3 brakes at the rear.

As you might think, driving this monster is no easy feat and the man behind the wheel certainly puts up a show, finishing the BTG section in a whopping 7:26 minutes.
