E30 M3 costs have officially reached insane levels. A recent E30 BMW M3 auction listing has just ended and its final sale price held for a whopping 250,000 USD. Someone actually paid a price able to buy a McLaren for an E30 M3.

Certainly, it’s a completely stunning example. The 1988 E30 BMW M3 only held 8,099 miles on its dash and is in excellent condition. There’s literally no different word for the kind of state this specific M3 is in. For all intents and plans, it’s flawless. Nonetheless, it’s not completely original and it wasn’t even acquired from the original owner, so we’re not actually sure why somebody would be willing to spend that sort of money on it.

There were various services to the car over these years, including a brand new timing chain tensioner, a valve change, a clutch slave cylinder, a crankshaft seal, and also an exhaust hanger replacement. Not even the paint is fully original, with the passenger fender having been repainted and also showing a thicker paint depth than the rest of the car. So it’s not some genuine museum piece. Why the extremely huge price tag?

At the moment, these classic cars can only grow in price if they hold conditions and at auctions, you can get enormous amounts of money for some examples such as this E30 M3.

The E30 is a legend on the streets up to these days, it being an M3 model as well making it even rarer, but the shape it has held over the years is unbelievable and it might be a one of a kind model as the price tag it has been sold at could say.

This might also be the biggest price tag an E30 M3 has ever held in history taking in account that it wasn’t even bought from the original owner and it wasn’t a nut-to-bolt model, with more changes done to it than you would expect, but mechanically speaking it was in perfect condition.
