Nearly 20 years have passed since MINI was successfully restored as a BMW brand. The tiny car is especially popular in the high-performance variants, in which the much-cited go-kart feeling is individually asserted. The supreme glory is the limited John Cooper Works GP, which was newly launched in its third edition. Of course, the top version soon formed interest at MANHART Performance including its Dutch partner MINIspeed.eu, powered by Beek Auto Racing. The result is the MANHART GP3 F350 – which, alike the basic model, is provided in a strictly limited number.
If the most potent MINI today wasn’t fast adequate, then German tuning Manhart can improve it just unveiling their tuning kit for the MINI JCW GP entitled GP3 F350. The four-cylinder turbo, that already had 306 horsepower stock, received an additional performance increase in Wuppertal. The total horsepower output? A whopping 350 horsepower that will absolutely turn the MINI JCW GP into one of the most impressive cars on the road.
The aspect of the tuned GP3 F350 will also reach out to the crowd. The conventional fender flares and the enormous rear wing of the MINI John Cooper Works GP get remarkable golden accents. Next, the air bays and the diffuser are also designed with the alike golden accents.
After the tech review, the BMW B48 engine also offers a huge torque of 530 Nm, which is way more from what most drivers anticipate in a small car in this division. The improvement in performance was done with the help of one Airtec intercooler and an ECU reconfiguration.
Moreover, Manhart achieved the help of the MINI professionals from Beek Auto Racing in Hague. The tuning kit for the drivetrain is rounded off with a Remus sports exhaust system with four-stage flap control. There is also a replacement pipe for the gas particulate filter accessible on request.
To level, the roof, the outer mirrors, and even the tiny GP logo on the rear are kept in gold, which creates unusually strong contrast with the matte black foiling of the rest of the car.
Driving dynamics are very crucial for the MINI GP, so Manhart placed a suspension kit dropping the car by 20 millimeters at the front and 15 millimeters at the back. In the near future, an adjustable coil-over suspension from AST Suspension will be given.
The latest on the list of present upgrades are the 19-inch Manhart Concave One wheels along with yellow accents to match the gold on the entire car.
